Connect
Tone down the workout just one notch (you’re not getting away that easily) and focus on centring the mind and body to really connect with yourself. This is a slightly lower intensity, slower-paced workout with more free-flowing and lengthening moves. Don’t be deceived by the name… this class requires a lot of power, control and mobility.
Free Style
This class is a torsion incorporating and combining the best of everything Excelsia. The leading line up involves toning, endurance, strength and cardio to challenge your limits, mix up your workouts and keep you guessing what’s next, to leave you wanting more. This class suits more advanced pilates practitioners, and you should have attended quite a few classes previously to ensure that you will be comfortable in this class.
Jump Around
Are you ready to hit it hard and take your cardio workouts to the extreme? These cardio/ HIIT (High-intensity interval training) classes utilise the jump boards to have your heart rate elevated and pumping into your ears. This is good if you want to get sweating, burn calories and build up your endurance! Your core will be sore and strong after this class!
Mums and Bubs Pilates Class
Struggling to find time to work out? Want to rebuild that core post-pregnancy? Then our mums and bubs Pilates class is for you! We make it so you don’t have to organise a sitter, bring the bub along with you! This class is slow and focuses on rebuilding strength and fitness after having your baby. A more gentle reformer class for those looking for a more relaxed class or recovering from injury. This class is slower and really allows you to focus on building up your strength and stretching out those tired muscles. If you are a beginner or have recently sustained an injury – this is the class for you.
Tech-Nique
This may be our beginners class, but there is no slacking off here! This class will have you fine-tuned and in impeccable form. Whether you are an old-timer wanting to step up your game or a newbie ready to learn the fundamentals, you will only benefit from this class. In this class we strip it down and take it back to basics, teaching you how to correctly activate, position and work your body using the optimal form for the best workout and ultimate results. This is the class to set you up for success. We recommend that all our new clients take this class, to help you ease your way into pilates, or to assess your current level.
